The last 2 weeks

Gosh, it's been a busy couple of weeks for our family. Here are some pics to keep you updated.
Two Saturdays ago, we celebrated Grandma Collins' 97th birthday!

Grandma's blowing out her candles!

The Sutton & Collins families.

Judy kept sneaking Cam & Maria the rest of the left over dessert. Busted girls! While we were there, Camryn decided to show off her days of the week song to everyone.

Then that following Monday, I made a road trip with my friends Maren & Becky, and Becky's hubby Chris (who had to wear his Kansas blue & red), to see the MU vs. KU basketball game in Columbia. We got there early and hit Harpo's before the game. I don't think there were more than a handful of students in there. It was all of the alums reliving our college days at the favorite hang out. Kind of sad really, but enjoyed it while we were there! AND...I'm happy to report that we won! Although it was a difficult game to watch most of the time, the last 5 minutes were amazing to watch us creep a bit closer and closer. We won at the very end! So much fun!

Later that week, Camryn had her Valentine's party at school. She got to dress up in her new Valentine's shirt and wear her skirt and dancing shoes. She was so excited. We took two pictures of her that morning and she told me she wanted one picture to be sent to her PaPas and Charlotte, and everyone else could get the second picture. Ha, ha! She's so much like me.

Then this past weekend, Craig had bought me tickets for Christmas to go see MU vs. Nebraska, so headed back to Columbia...again. No Harpos this time. We had Cam with us and dropped her off and Jon & Liz's right before the game. Camryn loves any chance she gets to play with Charlotte. She was looking forward to that day all week. Liz cooked us a really nice dinner after the game, and she made us eclairs from scratch (really yummy Liz), which we had to eat while Charlotte watched. She didn't eat her dinner so she didn't get any "cake". Sorry Charlotte. But they were really good and we had to head back home pretty soon. She tried to scam some off Camryn but Liz caught her in time. Ha!

That's it for now. We're headed to Disney Playhouse Live later today. Hoping to have some pics to share.

We broke down and gave her some eclairs later. We decided that b/c she had tried the pork many times but kept taking it out that she just didnt like it. The point of wanting her to eat dinner isnt to force her to eat stuff she dislikes...so we settled on a banana for dinner first, then dessert. I figured a whole banana was way more nutrition than a half a bite of pork anyway! Thanks for coming in.
