Sweet comment from "Gaga"

Craig had such a horrible day yesterday.  One of those where he said nothing went right and felt like everyone was against him.  Those days stink.  Thank goodness we get to start fresh each day.  He told me last night that everything was lifted when he picked up the girls.  He said Darcy saw him at school and asked for "macawoni and cheez" for dinner (which she asks for every day), and Camryn gave him a giant hug when she saw him.  He said they made his day so much better.

I love that he tells me those things.  The girls, as stressful as they can be sometimes, can completely relieve you of all your grown up stress in an instant.  It's an awesome thing.

Favorite "Now" Things About the Girls

Two fav things Darcy is doing right now.

After we drop Camryn off at school I take her to daycare.  We look for school buses together to point out but she is quite the eagle eye.  Especially considering she's in the back seat and has to look around the passenger seat.  I'll hear "poo bus", and I'm like "where Darce?" and she'll point and by golly there it is.  That's how I've been getting her up and going lately before school.  "Darce if we don't hurry we won't see the school buses." and she kicks it into fast mode.  LOVE IT.

One of Craig's favorite things is (mine too) is when Darcy takes a bath, she'll be playing or whatever.  But when we're washing her, oen of us will say "OK, it's time to wash your bottom."  She'll flip over on her belly or get up on all fours so we can clean her.  When we're done, she says "Dank you".  Glad she appreciates it at least. LOL!

Two fav things about Camryn.

She has been reading for quite some time, but I can't tell you how cool it is to have her pick up any single book and start reading away. She's good too.  Figures out words that I would have never thought she would be able to pronounce on her own.  And then when she doesn't understand a word's meaning, she'll ask.  And then she'll give me an example in her life on how the word applies.  Such a smart cookie.

We've been lax on going to church the last couple of months.  When she told me the other day that she enjoys going and asks to read stories from her Bible, how can I not take her?  I enjoy it too.  She told me the other day that Jesus died for our sins after we read the Crucifixion story.  She questions just about everything but never once did she question the concept of him moving the stone and leaving the tomb.  She just accepts the events for what they are, and loves to find out more.

Maybe it's time to teach her about politics. :)
